Do you know what I’ve just been craving for weeks now? Grilled cheese! It’s like once I turned fifteen my taste buds were just like, “Whoa! I need some cheese, pronto!” Now that I’m older Lili lets me use the stove and I’m slowly getting the hang of things.

 

The doctors were right about my height.

 

It was almost like I grew a foot overnight! It was so strange! I noticed because I was suddenly able to look out the window in our front door.

 

Growing that much so fast did hurt but it was more of an ache than anything else. Lili made sure she made my favorite food (grilled cheese, duh) for dinner so I wouldn’t be too sad. It helped.

Besides that my mood has been all over the place, too.

 

Lili wondered if it might be puberty but I don’t know if that’s something I need to worry about as a non-human.

Sometimes I’m sad, sometimes I’m flirty, and sometimes I’m really angry.

 

I usually feel confused once one of my moods leaves me, though. I’ll snuggle up on the couch or sit outside and breathe the fresh air.

 

The other ET kids still come over all the time. We have dance parties! Sometimes I just feel like we have too much energy!

I don’t sing out to the other kids like I used to. I sort of feel like I don’t want to be bothering them so much. So many have much worse problems than myself…

My whole new batch of feelings can be overwhelming. Lili lets me use the computer now so I have tried looking for answers. None are coming. It’s very frustrating…

I wanted to give credit where credit is due! Thymeless’s Pandora had HORRIBLE growing pains before she aged into a teenager and then a big painful shock when she suddenly grew. I read her aging up chapter a while back and realized catching up this week that I was somewhat using her lore about the ET aging process. So, she’s the one that started it, I believe! 🙂
