Potters Rock

Built upon a rock, this two story waterside cottage boasts adequate room for the professional single sim or even a couple of lovebirds. Whether throwing a party or reading a book this home is ready for you!

Last night I saw someone link to a tutorial for making homes with textured foundations and I was like, “sure I’ll give it a go!” It was my first time really working with the terrain other than trying and failing to mess with the Suzu compound (I don’t want to talk about it, looool) BUT I think it turned out really nice! See the tweet below for a link to the tutorial.

So! My build is on the gallery! It’s CC free and I did use MOO for all those rocks and then for spacing on the inside. There shouldn’t be any plants clipping into the house because I played for a long time before I finally finished. The prints were all captured by Aya Ikeda as she worked in the lab. In the end I didn’t need the weather machine as I originally thought, haha!

Here’s what I mean…

I truly wish there was room for another bedroom so a small family could live here (that was my original goal!) but there just wasn’t the space for it on this lot. Perhaps I’ll try again and use a larger lot!

Without further ado, please check out the below pics and download from the gallery if you’re interested!
