I park this joint up!

Man, BlicBlock is so addicting. Anahi gets mad when I play at the dinner table but, hey, I finished my meal! You gonna tell my mother? (She’s ghosting over in the Oakenstead manor if you need her.)

 

“So, uh, babe?”

 

See? She’s annoyed with me.

“You’ve been stressed an awful lot lately… Maybe your brother could come over so you can beat him in a game of chess. I’ll do the cleaning today?”

“That’s… a good idea. Thanks, Eij.”

I still got it.

 

Her younger brother’s name is Santiago. Weird guy. She kicks his ass when they play chess. I knew that’s just what she needed!

In other news, we had some more cash in the pot so I decided to park-up the place and put in some fun monkey bars. The boys really liked that. The morning after I put them up Eddie climbed up there in his PJs and wouldn’t come down. I didn’t realize until later that he didn’t go to school that morning. He was still up on those plummin’ bars!

“HEY ED. Get the plum down here and go to school!”

 

“DAD, I CAN’T GET DOWN.”

I had to help the little shit down. I didn’t yell at him anymore after that; he would get scolded enough by his teacher when he got to school…

With the kids gone for the day, Anahi decided to get out of bed and make lunch.

 

I’ve noticed that cooking helps her release her frustrations… I’m glad I’m not on the receiving end of that spatula!

 

I honestly don’t tell her enough how much I love her, though. I could watch her eat all day…

 

…even when she’s scowling. (So beautiful…)
