I’ve finally taken the time to sit down and photograph the Ikeda heirs to see the resemblance throughout the generations.
Heirs 1-10:
Top Row (L-R): Misaki, Takeo, Rei, Ryu, Michiru
Bottom Row (L-R): Tachi, Nadeshiko, Mamoru, Kaori, Eiji
(white backgrounds for the purists)
Or, if you’d prefer all in one row…
Female Resemblance:
1st Gen Misaki and 10th Gen Suzu

They are both gorgeous! And it seems like the noses stayed pretty consistent throughout the gens!

Thanks! Yeah, I’m thinking the nose and maybe the lips. It’s too bad I switched eye styles halfway through. I never pay attention to that but Misaki definitely had purple eyes when I made her, haha!

Lol that’s kinda funny 😛

I was about to say something about the lips! It’s such a distinct shape – a flat upper lip but a curved lower one. How amazing to see it passed down all the way to Suzu. 🙂

I’m pretty sad that my girls lost all prominent features of the foundress. Although that is actually the purpose of a prettacy lol (and their body type doesn’t change, because I never bring in new female genes).
I think it’s interesting to see how they change from generation to generation. For example, your three blondes look pretty similar, but the black-haired girl after this looks nothing like her father (I guess he is). I think legacies with strict equality have the most interesting changes.

What I think happens is that, unless there’s a prominent feature, the child takes on the spouse’s features. AND maybe it’s because I switched gender each generation…

Nice job! One of my favorite things about the sims is seeing what the kids look like.

Me, too! That plus I love a sim with a good backstory. 🙂

I was inspired to do this with my legacy…such a good idea! Sadly I don’t have my heirs saved out until gen 5….oops. At least I can compare 1 And 10 when they’re born.
