Chapter 80: For the Love…

SIGH… I just… *breathes*

Before we get started, Tatsuya has an announcement to make:

He made it into Love Shot: the Hella Good Bachelorette Challenge!

You can read his hilarious intro by SunnyShay here!

When the episodes start I’ll keep you linked up but you should follow her thread and/or blog so you don’t miss anything. 🙂

(This is a long one, sorry!)

Back at the Legacy homestead, Sonia wanted to get all her children (or as many as she could at the time) together for a little “Family Fireside Fun”. Tatsuya hadn’t left for his show yet so he graced them with his presence. Sonia told them all an action adventure campfire story! They weren’t really impressed…

Yoshi had work but Tatsuya’s appearance makes up for his absence?

Kaori missed out on this bonding time; her reasoning was that she saw her mother all the time. Instead she spent some time training with her father (because she doesn’t see him all the time too?). This was especially smart, though, since right before this he received his final days notice. (Sonia did also. Double standard, Kai?)

06-29-15_7-58 PMI’d feel so bad to let them die when we’re so close to the end… Kaori just waited too long to have children? Maybe Mamoru and Sonia took too long instead! This is someone’s fault!

I’ll stop playing the blame game. Putting off death is what youth potions are for! They both took a drink. THEY ARE IMMORTAL!

Moving on to the future…

Kaori’s latest pregnancy had Paranoid Me all concerned..

What if she has another girl?

We’ll be fine, of course. We’ve got that larger household mod. We would try again.

That would be very inconvenient but we would CARRY ON.

Anyway… This pregnancy seemed to take longer than normal. I think the game just knew I really wanted to see a boy be born. Kai had several hobbies she took up her time with.

06-29-15_11-46 PMAnd the ever popular “wake up the sleeping baby to talk to her” [not appearing in this post].

During this same time I was waiting for Kimi to age up to a child. Her birthday announcement came and I tried to age her up but it wouldn’t let me. I was really annoyed and also worried by this. What if she was still a baby when the next kid was born?! That would be bad news! So… I waited.

My patience paid off because Kimi FINALLY aged up! She happened to roll the exact traits and aspirations as Chiyo: a  goofball Whiz Kid. The oldest and youngest sisters (hopefully!) would be old sames. 🙂

She aged up invisible like I’ve had happen before so we went out to the neighborhood and came back in.

She looked pretty weird when I first saw her as a child.

06-30-15_12-48 AM-2My first thought was, “oh no, squinty eyes are back and it’s affecting girls!”

Thankfully, it was just because she was so happy. She’s actually normal looking. Phew.

06-30-15_1-17 AMShortly after Kimi aged up Kaori went into labor! Ahhhhhhh!

I sent her to the hospital because I read somewhere that there was a glitch where home births always resulted in multiples.

We can’t be too safe…

06-30-15_1-26 AMI went to double check the spelling of the name ninjapigsims suggested on my last post: Daichi – “grand first son”.

I typed it in and pressed enter.

06-30-15_1-26 AM-2TWINS. ANOTHER BOY.

I actually laughed out loud (LOL’d, if you will). Okay, fine.

I quickly looked for a similar name meaning and picked Eiji: “second son” (according to one name site, correct me if I’m wrong). Appropriate.

I pressed enter again.

I said some swears under my breath (you can insert in “plum, plum, plumming plum” for your imagination).

I took a moment away from the game to breathe and step away. I came back and picked a name that you might think sounds funny but it worked with what I was going for on such short notice: Fuji. (I think it’s cute!)

06-30-15_1-22 AM-2Fuji, Eiji, and Daichi

The upside is that now I have this lovely drama. The downside is that now it’ll take just as long as the last generation and we’re still trudging along… This legacy will never die.

Oh the Sims. It’s amazing how the game just gives you what you want sometimes, but in excess! Makes for fantastic writing material. 🙂

It’s going to be ridiculous for gameplay with triplets in such a full house, but congratulations to Kaori and Malik anyways! Such beautiful children. Eiji and Fuji (reference to a delicious apple and a landmark mountain, whoopwhoop!) are fantastic names too. Thank you so much for the credit for Daichi, and for using his name! I feel super privileged to have contributed a name to such an outstanding legacy. 😀

Also, congratulations to Tatsuya again! 🙂

          1. Not everyone just yet! xD Just the ones on my read list for now…but I bet I’ll expand into saying hi to more people once I get to read their stories! 🙂

I should really continue writing my own stuff as well. Just started a household full of Greek goddesses…not sure if I should begin a new series, seeing as I already have two in the works. 😛

            1. My actual reading list is really small right now but I have good intentions! I have to actually make myself sit down and read and I haven’t made time yet. I have a lot of people to catch up with. It’s daunting! I put you on my “to read” list, too!

              1. I’m with you there, but my reading list is pretty humongous! My bookmarks are full of things to look at and check out when I have the time to, Sims-related or otherwise!

I’m the opposite I think, which is not necessarily a good thing! I find that it’s easier to catch up with other people’s stuff as compared to working on your own. But of course everyone operates differently, and I’m glad for that, otherwise there’ll be nothing to read! xD

Aw shucks! That makes me really happy to hear! 🙂 ❤

This has happened to me now four times: 2nd gen twins, 5th gen twins (then an adoption to fulfill an aspiration), 9th gen triplets, and then 10th gen triplets. All cases were me trying to have just one more kid. It’s like I almost will it to happen, ha! 😛

  2. I was so excited to see that Tatsuya made it into the Bachelor Challenge! Congratulations! 🙂 Your squinty eyes made me laugh so hard! 🙂 But Kimi aged up to be so adorable! 🙂 I just want to hug her! 🙂 I must admit when I saw Michael Scott, I actually read his frantic statement in my head with his actual voice. That was so awesome. I felt the same way!! So excited to see if there wuld be a boy! And then…yay! A boy!!…another boy…a girl!!! Congratulations! 🙂 What a fun chapter! 🙂
