I think I’ve mentioned this before but our little subdivision is filled with makeshift families like ours. There are four other caregivers: Hajar, Dina, Alec, and Damon. Their kids are just as adorable as Xilla! There is so much variety in their appearances and personalities.
We’ve had several playdates together already. The kids seem to get along nicely and I wonder if they’ll remain friends as they grow up.
We’ve all talked about education and the agency has told us the kids will attend a small school set up in the area. They each have a disguise but they won’t be required to wear them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Xilla’s disguise and I wonder what hers looks like…
Anyway, we get together often. It’s as simple as calling up the gang and popping over. I think we all get stir crazy.
I’m always down glad for a distraction; Xilla is constantly making messes…
She always becomes giddy when I tell her we’re going to be visiting our friends. It completely turns her mood around if she’s having one of her angry days.
We take turns house-hopping. I like to joke that it’s so we can take turns cleaning our houses after the kids get into the paint, ha!
Damon and Hajar were the two extra additions to Alec, Dina, and I. Sometimes I wonder what that blue haired girl and preppy guy are up to these days; you know, the ones from our first “jury summons”. They literally don’t know what they’ve missed out on.
Our gatherings can sometimes go late and it can be hard to wretch Xilla away from her friends.

It’s a short walk home.
After days like this Xilla usually goes straight to bed without any issues.
On normal days I wish she’d knock it off with the tantrums, though…

It’s great to see them doing so well. Friends who are in a similar situation are great support for both Xilla and Liliana!

Awww playdates! I’m so glad Xilia has so many friends to play with! And Liliana gets a much needed reprieve. I can imagine that she’ll be sharing lots of parenting stories and getting tips with/from the other parents!
That Renaissance painting should be made part of the objects in TS4. Super cute! 🙂

The playdates looked like a lot of fun. It seemed like Geoffrey was shocked to see them or something in the background of that pic with them all on the sidewalk!

Lol, yeah Geoffrey was like “oh gosh, aliens!” 😂
And I actually didn’t get to have a playdate for real! I was setting them all up to know each other with these shots and forgot to actually schedule the play date before aging her up!

That’s okay it still looked like fun! In some of the stories Geoffrey is a person that works somehow with the agency.

This is so cute. I am seriously considering weaving this little challenge it to my story. I question is can you have more than one parent.
