NinjaPig in Europe: Part 5

A short update!

It was an uneventful day for us. Weย found a cute little cafe near our hotel and had egg and bacon sandwiches. NinjaPig was annoyed at me for eating it but it was so yummy.ย After breakfast, we made our way to the reference library where my friend was going to look at different Sherlock Holmes materials for her school research.

What did this mean for NinjaPig and I? We got to play online all day! I managed to catch up a small amount in the thread. I don’t know how many pages I have left from before the recent stuff but I’ll get there, probably…

On the way back to our hotel we got smoothies. Yum!

NinjaPig borrowed my phone while we were waiting for the next train and took this picture. Lovely.

The rest of the afternoon we watched telly and napped. Later, we forced ourselves out of bed and walked to the Italian restaurant nearby for a late dinner. It was crowded but delicious.

Tomorrow (today as of this posting) is the tube strike so we’ll see how we get on…

  1. Aww, she looks so annoyed at your breakfast! ๐Ÿ˜€

Yay for relaxing days. Also, that photo is a reminder to all of you to ‘Mind The Gap’, ninjapig style. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚

Safe travels for today in particular! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

    1. I think every vacation should have a relaxation day. When I was a kid our family vacations were chock full of activities. We always had to get up super early so we could get in line first for whatever we were doing that day. Exhausting. ๐Ÿ˜›

    1. There was one a month ago and it was, apparently, much worse. We’re hoping that by catching the bus later in the morning that we won’t hit the commuter traffic. It’ll be back to normal for tomorrow! ๐Ÿ™‚
