This is an exciting update for me! Citizens Isaac and Amelia Wood (numbers I2034 and A9653, Project #W4834) have conceived their Wonder Child!

Amelia reported that she experienced nausea one morning in April. She wouldn’t say more.

She was fortunate to have a day off so she went to the library to use the computer for her job requirements.

She spent a lot of time there and eventually felt quite fatigued. With no shame, she took a nap in the library.

She told me that when she arrived back at the house, she thought she might have an answer to her symptoms. She took a pregnancy test and waited for Isaac to come home from work.

She was so excited to tell him!

Isaac was so happy that he cried! (Aw!)

He shared with me that he was surprised at how overcome with emotion he became.

They called me over for a meeting and told me the great news! I congratulated the couple and informed them that from now on they would be keeping the logs. I said I would pop in from time to time but they were responsible for updates to their file.

Isaac then said something inappropriate that I won’t repeat here. At least Amelia found it funny.

As I was leaving Isaac asked to speak to me in private. He wanted to thank me for putting the two of them together. He felt that he truly loved Amelia and she loved him.

It’ not a problem, Isaac. That’s my job!
